A new programme with Mr. B

To make travelling easier for families with children,Václav Havel Airport Prague has introduced an innovation in the department of offers and services for the youngest of travellers.

All activities for babies and children are now marked with a label of Mr. B mascot.

All shops with merchandise for children, restaurants offering children menu, children’s corners and rooms for parents travelling with children are labelled with this symbol. 



Rooms for passengers travelling with children


Rooms for passengers travelling with children, providing privacy and quiet environment, are located in the restricted areas of Terminals 1 & 2 and feature changing stations, microwave ovens, baby cots, play areas and ensued bathrooms. 

Children´s corners - Transit area

Large climbers, slides and toys await the youngest of travellers at the airport children’s corners where they can train their skills and have fun to the fullest. Large children’s corners are located in Terminal 1, behind passport control, on the left-hand side and in Terminal 2, behind security check, on the left-hand side.
Alongside these large children’s corners, there are also mini play areas, located in Terminal 1 at Gates A6 – A9 and B7 – B9 and on the ground floor towards the rear end of Pier B. In Terminal 2, a mini play area is located towards the rear end of Pier C and on the ground floor of Pier C. Mini play areas can accommodate children from 3 to 8 years of age and are equipped with interactive toys and building blocks.

Children’s Corner in Public Area and Large Format Games

Children can visit a children’s corner of the Bambule toy shop, located in the connecting corridor between Terminals

 1 & 2, and play with aviation-themed toys, many games and building blocks, use the shop’s climbers, swings and enjoy many more attractions. Older children may use their time before departure to play large-format games of chess and other b

oard games (e.g.: Don’t be angry, man!),  located in the Terminal 2 Departure Hall’s public area.

 

Baby Strollers


When travelling with a baby stroller, your baby can enjoy its comfort till the very last moment before departure. Folding pushchairs may be carried on board if agreed by the carrier. Sports strollers and strollers for new-borns must be folded and scanned upon security screening. Then, they may be used till boarding the aircraft.
If you prefer not to travel with your own stroller, you can borrow an airport stroller free of charge and take it all the way to your departure gate. Baby strollers rent stations are located in Terminal 1 behind passport control and in Terminal 2 behind security check, on the right-hand side.

Restaurants for Children

Many restaurants at Václav Havel Airport Prague are ready to accommodate the youngest of travellers, serving special menus and drinks for children and providing children’s dining chairs. Visit one of the below-listed restaurants:

Restaurant Praha – Terminal 1 public area, Terminal 1 transit area
Nude Juice Bar – Terminal 1 transit area
McDONALD’S – Terminal 1 public area
PAUL – transit areas of Terminals 1 & 2



 


 


Shops for children

You can buy a variety of toys, miscellaneous board and sports games for your children at the shops of Václav Havel Airport Prague:
Sparkys – tranzit area of Terminal 2, Pier D and Pier C
Bambule – public area in  Terminal 2

 

Children mechanical moving toys


In the public area of Terminal 1 and in the restricted area of Terminal 2 in Pier D, there are paid mechanical toys ready to rock and amuse your children.

 

Rooms for parents with children

Special rooms for parents with children are located in non-public area of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

Changing tables

At Václav Havel Airport Prague, changing tables are located in most women's and men's toilets, in both the public and restricted area.

 

 

Taxi

Visitors who travel with young children in cabs may ask the each driver for a car seat to ensure the safety of their child.
