Do not miss out on the opportunity to visit the exhibition entitled FIGURAMA12 in the modern space of Prague Airport from the 1st June to the 30th September 2012. This consists of an international project by the Faculty of Architecture at Czech Technical University in Prague documenting the work of art university students. The project is focused on figurative art: drawing, painting and sculpture art. The goal is to map out and compare the approach to depicting the human body.

The exhibition will also include Artelerie 2012, involving work by faculty members.
Apart from large-format drawings, the exhibition will include historical plaster castings of allegories of “religion” of the renowned statue from Braun’s world-famous sculptural gallery “virtues and vices”. The author of the original was Matthias Bernard Braun who ranked among the most significant sculptors of the High Baroque in the Czech Lands.

The exhibition will also include a statue of Saint Christopher, the patron of all drivers and pilgrims, carrying the Infant Jesus by Marius Kotrba. Additional artists such as the painters Boris Jirků, Karel Pokorný, Tomáš Vejdovský and others will also be exhibiting their work here.

The exhibition is open free of charge in the departure hall of Terminal 2.
