Passengers with Disabilities and Medical Conditions
Assistance provided to passengers with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility and orientation
Following the Regulation (EC) Nr. 1107/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of July 5th, 2006, concerning the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility and orientation when travelling by air, Prague Airport Managing Body is obliged to provided, either by the use of its own means or through a hired third party, relevant assistance to passengers with disabilities or medical conditions.
Prague Airport, a.s., decided to contract this service of assistance with a specialized company. The assistance provider was selected in compliance with the above mentioned Regulation with no prejudice to the application of the relevant provisions of the Act Nr. 137/2006 of the Code on Public Procurement.
Non-stop unrestricted check-in access for persons with disabilities and reduced mobility and orientation is provided free of charge in the form of assistance supplied upon the person’s with disability or medical condition request. The assistance can be requested at the check-in or information desk or from one of the 14 designated points located around the airport premises.

Rules applied to carriers upon request of assistance service
Following Article 6 of the aforementioned Regulation, air carriers, their agents and tour operators shall inform the assistance provider about the notification of the need for assistance for any passengers with disabilities at least 36 hours prior the published flight departure time.
In cases where the notification is not provided within the given time frame or at all, time limits for administration of the service of assistance stated in the Quality Norm published at Václav Havel Airport Prague website cannot be guaranteed.
