Jiří Pos will be new CEO of Prague Airport from 01/11/2011

Prague Airport will in connection with the personnel changes within the framework of Czech Aeroholding as of 1st November 2011 get a new management. The CEO upon departure of Miroslav Dvořák to the lead of Czech Aeroholding will be Jiří Pos; the three-member top management shall be supplemented by division managers Jozef Sinčák and Martin Hlava.

Jiří Pos, Jozef Sinčák and Martin Hlava were active in the top management of Prague Airport already prior to this change; moreover, since the spring of 2011, they have formed the three-member management board of this company. Prague Airport CEO Jiří Pos will be responsible for key business, i.e. aviation business and also asset management and administration, product development and marketing. Jozef Sinčák will be the manager of the division known as non-aviation business and finance and Martin Hlava will be manager of the division for aviation operations and security.

Jiří Pos is the Prague Airport CEO from 01/11/2011, he came to the company on 01/11/ 2006 from Czech Airlines, where he had worked for twenty years and from 2002 he was the Vice President for land-based operations. At Prague Airport to date he was responsible for aviation business, operations and asset management. Jiří Pos is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Aviation Production Technology.

Summary CV of Mgr. Jozef Sinčák (41):

Jozef Sinčák is the Manager of the division for non-aviation operations and finance; he joined Prague Airport in September 2009 as the Executive Manager for economy and finance. Before coming to Prague Airport, he worked for 8 years for ING Investment Management (C.R.), a.s. first as the Chief Operating Officer, and from 2005 as the General Manager and the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Between 1993 – 2001, he worked for ČSOB in various management positions. J. Sinčák is a graduate of the Mathematics and Physics Faculty of Charles University and subsequently accomplished a two-year MBA course at the Prague International Business School.

Summary CV of Ing. Martin Hlava (45):

Martin Hlava is the Manager of the division for aviation operations and security. He has been working for Prague Airport since 03/09/ 2001. From 01/03/2006, he was appointed Security Manager, on 01/12/2008 he became the Senior Manager in this area. He started his working career in the Alien Police, where he worked between 1991–1996 in special operations and between 1996–2001 as the head of armed aircraft escort. M. Hlava graduated from the University of Agriculture in Prague (now Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague).
