  • Main Runway at Prague Airport to Undergo Regular Autumn Maintenance


    Prague Airport will be carrying out regular autumn maintenance of the runway system between September 13 and September 26. The main runway, RWY 06/24, will be undergoing repairs after the most operationally demanding time of the year, the summer season, to get ready for winter operations.

  • Prague Airport Is on the Road to Further Noise and Emission Reductions, Thanks to the CDM System


    Starting at the end of August, ground operations at Prague Airport will follow Collaborative Decision Making (CEM) procedures. This will shorten the period necessary for aircraft to move on the ground, thereby reducing fuel requirements for the airlines, as well as cutting noise and emissions into the atmosphere from aircraft.

  • Air France will start regular flights from Marseille to Prague


    Air France, the French national carrier, has announced it will open a new base of operations in the French city of Marseille, from which it will begin offering 13 new direct connections starting October 2, 2011. One of those new direct flights from Marseille will be to Prague.

  • Etihad Airways and Czech Airlines sign landmark strategic agreement


    The flag carriers of the Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates – Czech Airlines (OK) and Etihad Airways (EY) – have signed a new codeshare agreement.

  • Delta, Air France KLM Resume Summer Service to Atlanta


    Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) announced the resumption of nonstop seasonal service between Ruzyne-Prague International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Atlanta flight operates four times weekly during the summer season, complementing Delta’s existing daily, year-round service to New York-JFK, which this summer will be operated by an Airbus A330-200 aircraft offering up to 243 seats. Both flights will be code-shared with Czech Airlines.

    Starting in May, Prague Airport is initiating online sales of parking places.     From 5/10 until 5/24, Prague Airport will be performing regular maintenance of the runway system. The main runway, RWY 06/24, will undergo repairs after the winter season to make it ready for operation during the time of its most intensive use, the summer season.
