Jiří Černík Becomes New Member of Prague Airport Board of Directors

Jiří Černík graduated from Masaryk University in Brno with a degree in Financial Management. Prior to joining Prague Airport, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Skanska, and before that he gained a broad range of experience in financial management, controlling and auditing in the fields of consulting, gas, industry and technology. Apart from Skanska, Jiří Černík also worked for Zetor Trade as Finance Director and for Honeywell as Financial Analyst for Europe. Moreover, he served as Director at Jihomoravská plynárenská, where he was responsible for controlling, and held the post of Audit Supervisor at EY Czech Republic (formerly Ernst & Young).

“Effective financial management is among the company’s key goals, which is one of the reasons why, in collaboration with the shareholder, an expert with extensive experience in this field was appointed a member of the Board of Directors. His skills are valuable to us in many other areas as well, because as Chief Financial Officer at Skanska, Jiří Černík acquired vast experience in the construction industry, which will be highly beneficial for us in view of the planned investments in the development of Prague Airport,” says Václav Řehoř, Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors.
