Change of Check-in Process in 2020

Notice

Information for Passengers – travelling from/to the Czech Republic

Many protective measures have been set up at Václav Havel Airport Prague for several months. Departures and arrivals take place under strict hygienic conditions, which are to ensure the health and safety of passengers. We recommend to all passengers and visitors to wear face masks, to keep a safe distance from other people, to wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizers when inside the airport. Thank you for protecting yourselves and those around you.

We recommend all passengers also check protective measures of their airline and confirm the current conditions for entering the country to which they are travelling from Prague.

LIST OF RESUMED ROUTES HERE

The number of handled passengers at Václav Havel Airport Prague continues to grow every year and it is our duty to make sure the airport is up to the task by means of a gradual modernization. At the moment, we are building a more modern and comfortable airport for you to enjoy as we never stop looking for ways to make your stay at the airport pleasant and easy-going. An upgrade of the baggage sorting area at Terminal 1 (from March to August 2020) is one of the airport’s long-term development projects. The area will undergo a complete refurbishment and receive new checked baggage security control features as security is among our top priorities.

What temporary changes to the check-in procedure will be introduced? Who will be affected by these changes? Where can you learn additional information? We have prepared a thorough overview of the process to ensure you are ready for your next departure before you arrive at the airport and after you get there. Thus, you will get through the check-in process relatively stress-free and will have the time to enjoy your stay at the airport either shopping, getting something to eat and drink, or just relaxing before the departure to your final destination.

We apologise for the temporary inconvenience caused and wish you a pleasant and comfortable flight!
