Information for Passengers – travelling from/to the Czech Republic

Many protective measures have been set up at Václav Havel Airport Prague for several months. Departures and arrivals take place under strict hygienic conditions, which are to ensure the health and safety of passengers. We recommend to all passengers and visitors to wear face masks, to keep a safe distance from other people, to wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizers when inside the airport. Thank you for protecting yourselves and those around you.

We recommend all passengers also check protective measures of their airline and confirm the current conditions for entering the country to which they are travelling from Prague.

China Eastern Airlines has confirmed its decision to increase the number of flights on the carrier’s Prague – Shanghai route. Effective 6 May 2019, the airline will offer five weekly connections from Václav Havel Airport Prague to Shanghai, with the new frequency added on Mondays. China Eastern uses Airbus A330-200 for 262 passengers to service the route. Based on Prague Airport’s estimates, the new frequency is expected to be used by about 10 thousand passengers in both directions during the summer season. The flights on Thursdays and Sundays have a stop over in Xi’an, visited by tourist primarily for the Terracotta Army Site.
