On Tuesday, 27 March 2018, Emirates Airlines announced its decision to add another frequency on the carrier’s Prague – Dubai route. The decision was motivated by the continued growth in the number of passengers using the service since its launch in 2010. The airline will start operating the new flights on the route on 1 July 2018. To satisfy the growing demand of both arriving and departing passengers, the carrier will use Boeing 777-300ER with 360 seats to operate the new flights.

There is no better way of celebrating the 8th anniversary of the Prague – Dubai service than by launching a new frequency on the route,” Bořivoj Trejbal, Emirates Country Manager for the Czech Republic, said on the occasion, adding: “Since our first flight’s take-off on the route, the demand has continued to grow proving that Czechs value their travel experiences with Emirates airlines. I am certain that the market will appreciate the options provided by the second flight on the route.”

All, year-round operated, flights on the route will feature a three-Class configuration of aircraft, namely eight private First-Class cabins, 42 adjustable Business-Class seats and 310 spacious seats in Economy Class.

The announcement of the launch of the second daily rotation by Emirates airlines confirms a long-term interest in the route and ever-growing demand for flights to Dubai. It also helps fulfil our long-term aviation business strategy. The new service will help ensure better connectivity and easier transfers upon travels to destinations in the Middle East, Asia and Australia. Both daily flights from Václav Havel Airport Prague will feature three travel classes and offer increased in-flight passenger comfort from July 2018. We expect the new frequency, operated by Boeing B777s, to be used by over 200 thousand passengers a year,” Václav Řehoř, Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors, commented.
