Subject to the carrier’s enrolment in the incentive programme, the incentive shall be available to any air carrier that commences scheduled operation of a new Flight & Bus Connect route (irrespective of whether long-, medium- or short-haul), i.e., an intermodal transport product consisting of one or more air transport segments operated or marketed by the Carrier and one or more ancillary ground transport segments by bus, to a final destination that has not been served from Prague Airport within the Flight & Bus Connect concept during the preceding two (2) consecutive IATA operational seasons (the “Flight & Bus Connect Route”).
The incentive support shall be applied separately for each individual Flight & Bus Connect Route operated by or on behalf of an air carrier, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein.
This incentive scheme is available exclusively to air carriers operating Flight & Bus Connect Routes as an ancillary ground transport service inseparably linked to carriage by air and sold solely in conjunction with an air ticket. For the avoidance of doubt, incentive support is not applicable on regular bus transportation sold independently (not in conjunction with an air ticket).
The incentive applies only to international Flight & Bus Connect Routes operated to destinations outside the territory of the Czech Republic.
For each individual Flight & Bus Connect destination, the incentive support shall apply for a single fixed period of twelve (12) consecutive months, commencing on the operational start date of the first air carrier launching a Flight & Bus Connect Route to such destination. If another air carrier launches a Flight & Bus Connect Route to the same destination during the incentive period, such carrier shall be eligible to enrol in the incentive scheme under identical conditions; however, its incentive support shall be available only for the remainder of the incentive period applicable to that destination, i.e., the incentive period shall expire twelve (12) consecutive months after the operational start date of the first air carrier launching the Flight & Bus Connect Route to such destination.
In order to be eligible for incentive support, from the launch date the air carrier shall operate the relevant Flight & Bus Connect Route at least once per week throughout the applicable operational season.
In the event that an air carrier discontinues operation of a Flight & Bus Connect Route to a particular destination during the validity of the incentive scheme and such operation has lasted for less than twelve (12) months (e.g., the air carrier discontinues the ancillary ground transport segment for commercial or operational reasons), no new incentive scheme shall be opened for that destination. The incentive support for the respective destination under the originally set conditions shall remain valid.
Upon expiry of the incentive period for a given Flight & Bus Connect Route, any use of the Flight & Bus Card in connection with that Flight & Bus Connect Route shall automatically revert to the applicable standard (non-incentivised) price list set out in Section 2 of this Annex 1 (as amended from time to time), without the need for any amendment.
