Airport Charges and Incentives from 26th March 2023

Information Related to Airport Price List Consultation Process

Pursuant to Article 42f of  Act No. 49/1997 Coll., on Civil Aviation and amending Act No. 455/1991 Coll., on Trade Licensing (the Trade Licensing Act), as amended (hereinafter referred to as “the Civil Aviation Act”), the operator of Václav Havel Airport Prague, Letiště Praha, joint stock company (hereinafter referred to as “Prague Airport”), is obliged to call a formal consultation meeting regarding the proposed list of airport charges for the use of Prague Airport services and facilities for the period commencing on 26th March 2023. This year’s meeting will be held on 13th September 2022.

Information Related to Airport Price List Consultation Process

On 2nd September 2021, a formal consultation meeting on the Prague Airport’s proposed price list for the period commencing on 27th March 2022 and ending on 25th March 2023 was organised by Prague Airport and attended by representatives of air carriers which, pursuant to the respective provisions of Article 42f of the Act No. 49/1997, Coll. about Civil Aviation as amended and amendments and addenda to the Act No. 455/1991, Coll. about Trade (the Trade Act) as amended, had confirmed their attendance in writing prior to the meeting. Prague Airport carefully reviewed all feedback from airlines, both written and discussed during the consultation meeting, prior to making the final decision.

On 15th November 2021, Prague Airport published the Final Decision which is now available for download in Portable Document Format at Prague Airport’s website under the Business section (see below). It includes a summary of changes to the price list, the outline of the airport users' views and Prague Airport's reaction to these views.

On 17th December 2021, the Prague Airport price list for the period commencing on 27th March 2022 and ending on 25th March 2023, was published. The document is now also available for download in Portable Document Format below.

Informace k projednávání letištního ceníku

Dne 2. 9. 2021 proběhlo veřejné projednání letištního ceníku pro období 27. 3. 2022 až 25. 3. 2023 za přítomnosti zástupců leteckých dopravců, kteří se v souladu s § 42 f Zákona č. 49/1997 Sb., o civilním letectví a se změnou a doplněním Zákona č. 455/1991 Sb., o živnostenském podnikání (živnostenský zákon), ve znění pozdějších předpisů, přihlásili k účasti na projednávání návrhu ceny za užívání letiště. Připomínky leteckých dopravců, obdržené písemně i diskutované během veřejného projednání, byly Letištěm Praha, a.s. pečlivě posouzeny před zveřejněním letištního ceníku.

Dne 15. 11. 2021 zveřejnilo Letiště Praha konečné rozhodnutí, které je nyní k dispozici ke stažení ve formátu Portable Document Format na webových stránkách Letiště Praha v části Business (viz. níže). Dokument zahrnuje přehled změn v ceníku, shrnutí připomínek uživatelů letiště a reakci Letiště Praha na tyto připomínky.

Dne 17.12.2021 byl zveřejněn letištní ceník platný pro období 27. 3. 2022 až 25. 3. 2023. Dokument je nyní také ke stažení ve formátu Portable Document Format níže.

NOTE ON TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE 3.2 INCENTIVE SCHEME IN CONNECTION WITH THE MILITARY CONFLICT IN UKRAINE 

In connection with the military conflict in Ukraine, which led to the closure of airspace over the territory of Ukraine for civil flights, thus interrupting air traffic from / to Ukraine from 24 February 2022, Prague Airport, a.s. (hereinafter referred to as "Prague Airport"), the operator of Václav Havel Airport Prague international airport, makes the following decision:

 3.2. Incentive Scheme: New Destination – Short- and Medium-haul Routes

 Regarding the currently running 3.2 incentive scheme on all new routes operated between Václav Havel Airport Prague and all international airports in Ukraine, Prague Airport temporarily suspends the effect of this incentive scheme, listed in the Prague Airport Price List, as amended, retroactively as of the date of the airspace closure over the territory of Ukraine for civil flights, i.e., as of 24 February 2022.

As soon as operations on routes to Ukrainian destinations eligible for the above-mentioned incentive scheme are resumed, the 3.2 incentive scheme provided for these destinations will be re-launched in full extent according to the valid Prague Airport Price List, with immediate effect from the date of resumption of air traffic on the respective routes.

In the event of objections to the decision of Prague Airport, carriers are entitled to address their requests to the Office for Access to Transport Infrastructure.

Letiště Praha, a. s. as an operator of Prague Airport wishes to lay down clear basic conditions of use of the Prague Airport. Issuing such conditions shall contribute to greater legal certainty between Letiště Praha, a. s. and users of Prague Airport.
