SCAT Airlines has announced that within the next summer season, it is planning to increase the number of regular flights on the Prague – Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana) route. Starting from 5 June 2020, the carrier will provide service to the capital of Kazakhstan three times a week with the new frequency every Friday. The airline will operate the route launched in June 2019 by Boeing 737-700 in a configuration for 149 passengers. Based on Prague Airport’s estimates, the new frequency could be used by more than 7,500 passengers travelling in both directions over the season. This route also allows passengers to easily transfer to connecting flights to other destinations in Kazakhstan, such as Almaty, Shymkent, Taraz, Oskemen, and Pavlodar.
