Limited operations at Václav Havel Airport Prague during the Czech Republic's jubilee celebrations

Press Release
Return to list

Due to restrictions in the airspace above Prague Airport that will be imposed in relation to the jubilee celebrations of the foundation of an independent Czechoslovakia on Evropská třída Street, Václav Havel Prague Airport will be closed from all take-offs and landings between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm on 28 October. Passenger check-in and other airport operations will continue without any changes.

The service interruption will affect approximately 24 flights. Prague Airport informed all airlines well ahead of time about the planned operational restrictions and asked them to reschedule concerned flights to times outside the airspace closure. We recommend passengers carefully follow their carrier’s website or Prague Airport´s website, where they can learn the most current information about arrival and departure times.

Prague Airport is also appealing to passengers to allow themselves enough time to get to the airport that day due to possible traffic complications on the way to the airport.
