In 2025, Prague Airport reported an EBITDA of CZK 5.1 billion. Compared to the previous year, the company’s operating profit increased by 0.8 billion crowns. Prague Airport's net profit for 2025 reached CZK 3.2 billion, which also represents a year-on-year increase of CZK 0.8 billion.
“Prague Airport is part of the state's strategic infrastructure, which has a direct impact on the performance of the Czech economy, the influx of investments, tourism and the competitiveness of the Czech Republic. That is why I consider the modernization of the airport to be a typical pro-growth investment with long-term benefits for Czech citizens and businesses,” says Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Alena Schillerová, clarifying: “At the same time, macroeconomic analysis confirms that every additional million passengers brings billions of crowns to the Czech economy, creates thousands of jobs, and has a significant multiplier effect across the entire economy. In a time of growing international competition, the ability to implement major infrastructure projects is one of the key prerequisites for the country's future prosperity. Given the approved dividend policy and planned investment activities, the state, as the sole shareholder, has decided to pay a dividend of 20% of net profit. "We want the airport to develop and modernise dynamically,” added by Alena Schillerová.
“I am very pleased that last year once again confirmed the stable growth of Prague Airport’s across key indicators. A further increase in the number of passengers handled, the continued recovery of flight connections, and efficient cost management have been positively reflected in the company’s financial results. At the same time, we have launched a number of major investment projects that represent the first concrete steps in the planned extensive modernisation of Václav Havel Airport Prague,” says Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prague Airport.
In 2025, Václav Havel Prague Airport handled a total of 17.8 million passengers, which is 1.4 million more than in the previous year. A total of 84 airlines operated at Prague Airport over the course of the year, offering connections to 194 destinations. In cooperation with airlines, 19 new routes were launched during the year.
Prague Airport’s aviation revenues reached CZK 7.1 billion in 2025, while non-aviation revenues amounted to CZK 3.7 billion. The company also continued to develop its commercial and customer services. During the year, 18 restaurant and retail units were opened to expand the offering for passengers. In addition, Prague Airport introduced a new “Flexi parking” service, which offers cost-effective parking near the airport, including transport to the terminals in an air-conditioned van.
In 2025, Prague Airport also continued to invest in the modernisation of the airport infrastructure. These investments primarily included extensive modifications to the area around the main runway, the construction of a utility tunnel, and the reconstruction of the administrative building in Terminal 1. The total investment volume came to CZK 3.5 billion.
Based on the current situation, Prague Airport expects to handle a total of 18.6 million passengers this year.
