​​​​​​​Wizz Air Announces New Prague-Bucharest Route

Low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced a new route from Václav Havel Airport Prague to Bucharest, starting on 1 July 2020. The new direct scheduled connection to the capital of Romania will be operated three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, by Airbus A320 aircraft for 180 passengers. The afternoon flight will then be a convenient option for all travellers flying from Prague and which complements the services of other carriers. According to Prague Airport’s estimates, the route could be used by up to 23,000 passengers in both directions a year.

Effective 19 December 2019, the carrier launches its new route to Kishinev and increases the number of frequencies to Kutaisi, Georgia. Wizz Air also operates connections to Bari, Italy and London Luton Airport from Prague.
