Air carriers have planned to increase the number of connections from Václav Havel Airport Prague to Russia during April 2021. Effective 17 April 2021, a resumed route to St. Petersburg is being relaunched by Rossiya with a once weekly frequency operated on Saturdays. On 29 April 2021, Smartwings is also joining the St. Petersburg route, offering passengers two flights a week. In addition, there will be an increase in the number of connections on the route between Prague and Moscow with Aeroflot adding a fourth frequency to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport as of 23 April 2021. At this point, flights may predominantly be used by passengers who meet the current conditions of entry into Russia. Therefore, we recommend passengers always review all currently valid measures before their journey, thus avoiding complications during check-in or border control.

List of New Available Connections from Prague:

  • St. Petersburg

- Effective 17 April 2021, a route operated by Rossiya Airlines (with flights every Saturday); tickets are available on www.rossiya-airlines.com

- Effective 29 April 2021, a route operated by Smartwings (with flights every Thursday and Sunday); tickets are available on www.smartwings.com

  • Moscow

- Effective 23 April 2021, Aeroflot to add a fourth frequency on Thursdays (with flights every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday); tickets are available on www.aeroflot.com

Passengers can now find on the Prague Airport’s website a detailed overview of available connections, including a list of airlines offering flights to a particular destination, which is updated on a regular basis. Interested parties can use a convenient link from the overview to the airline's website, offering the most up-to-date information about the flight schedule and the option of booking tickets directly on the website. Selected destinations also feature interesting local details for travellers.

We recommended passengers with scheduled flights to always review all currently valid conditions for travel before the trip, thus avoiding complications during check-in and border control. Passengers should also be aware of all measures implemented at Prague Airport and aboard their airline-operated aircraft.
