As of 1 July this year, Česká spořitelna is opening a new lounge – the Erste Premier Lounge – in Terminal 1 of Prague Airport. This comes as a result of a newly concluded partnership with Prague Airport. The new contract will allow for further improvement of services for passengers who prefer a higher level of comfort prior to departure. Česká spořitelna is the only bank on the Czech market to offer a lounge under the Erste Premier Lounge brand in both terminals of Prague Airport for clients of its Erste Premier and Erste Private Banking premium services.

“The new lounge in Terminal 1 will complement the existing Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 2, bringing Erste Premier and Erste Private Banking clients comfortable facilities even for flights outside the Schengen Area,” says Lukáš Krch from Česká spořitelna, who is in charge of preparing the new airport lounge, and adds: “The opening of the lounge in Terminal 1 is the result of a long-term partnership with Prague Airport, as well as a response to the growing demand for comfortable travel.”

“The Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 2 in Prague welcomes nearly one hundred thousand of our clients annually. Clients particularly appreciate the peace and quiet for relaxing, the space for work and top-quality facilities. That is why we want to offer similar comfort to passengers on flights outside the Schengen Area,” adds Pavel Kratochvíl from Česká spořitelna, head of the Erste Premier service.

Česká spořitelna became the partner of the lounge in Terminal 1 after winning a tender announced by Prague Airport. On this basis, the two companies have concluded an agreement for the next five years.

“We welcome the fact that Česká spořitelna has become the new partner of the lounge in Terminal 1. This confirms our strong, existing alliance with the traditional and largest bank on the domestic market, as well as with the respected Erste Group, which is one of the largest financial groups in Central and South-Eastern Europe. I look forward to working together to gradually raise the standard of passenger services under the terms of this cooperation. Our goal is to provide a premium customer experience in the form of greater comfort and even better services, supported by modern technologies,” explains Jaroslav Petržela, Member of the Prague Airport Board of Directors responsible for the company’s commercial activities.

In the new Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 1, Česká spořitelna intends to feature elements that its clients currently encounter at the modern Future Lab branch in the centre of Prague. These include, for example, a digital avatar that acts as an assistant providing visitors with practical advice and information. The lounge will also feature a zone where clients can play games. Another new feature is the option to book entry online via the George app, which will help clients plan their trip better and avoid queuing.

The Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 2 already offers passengers a comprehensive service in line with modern travel trends. Among other things, passengers will find a stylish, peaceful environment with an emphasis on privacy, all-inclusive food and beverages including a fully serviced bar, work facilities in acoustic booths and Wi-Fi access, an outdoor terrace with a view of the aircraft, showers and relaxation areas, as well as an interactive children’s play area.
