Croatia Airlines Introduces Seasonal Flights on the Prague–Split Route

Croatia Airlines performed its first flight on the new seasonal route Prague – Split. Direct international flights on this route will operate on Saturdays until mid-September this year. On Saturday, 26 June 2021, Croatia Airlines operated its first flight on a new seasonal route between Prague and Split. The inaugural flight from Split, Croatia, was serviced by a Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft with the 9A-CQA registration mark, which was traditionally welcomed at Václav Havel Airport Prague by a water cannon salute. The operations on the new route were thus ceremonially launched last night with the assistance of the crew, and the representatives of both the carrier and Prague Airport. The airline will offer the new direct service between the two cities, which will provide passengers with a fast and comfortable connection to the popular tourist retreat of Croatia, every Saturday until mid-September 2021. The carrier will also use Airbus A319 to operate the route.

All passengers on today’s return flight Prague – Split have been awarded a 30 EUR voucher, which they can use when purchasing an airplane ticket for their next Croatia Airlines trip.

Passengers will be able to buy return tickets at a promotional price starting at 3540 CZK. Promotional prices are valid exclusively for purchases via www.croatiaairlines.com. The promotional offer includes airport taxes, ticket service charge, one piece of luggage free of charge (up to 23 kilograms), and service on board. Passengers can book their flights online and the flights will be eligible for earning award miles.

With the introduction of direct international flights between Prague and Split, tourists from the Czech Republic will have an even better mode of travel to the Croatian part of the Mediterranean, bringing them even closer to natural, cultural, and historical heritage of the Republic of Croatia – said Slaven Žabo, Commercial Division Director at Croatia Airlines.

From June to September this year, Croatia Airlines will be flying from Croatia to 18 European cities and 19 airports, where connecting flights to destinations around the world are available to passengers thanks to Croatia Airlines’ collaboration with partners from Star Alliance and other airlines.
