Czech Republic Closes Its Airspace to Russian Carriers

Effective Sunday midnight, 27 February 2022, the Czech Republic completely closed its airspace to air carriers from Russia. Already on Friday midnight, the Ministry of Transport banned the operation of all Russian air carriers on its territory. The restrictions applied to routes landing at our domestic airports. Russia also closed its airspace to air carriers from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Bulgaria last Saturday.
