Prague Airport continues to maintain a very strong financial position, as demonstrated by Moody’s latest affirmation of its long-term rating at Aa3 with a stable outlook. The rating reflects the company’s very strong financial profile and, among other things, its ability to implement its long-term investment plan flexibly.

“The result of this year’s review confirms that Prague Airport is on a very solid financial footing. A stable Aa3 rating is an important vote of confidence for us and, at the same time, a commitment to continue managing the company responsibly. It enables us to develop the airport and plan key investments with an emphasis on long-term stability and competitiveness,” says Radomír Lašák, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prague Airport.

Moody’s bases its assessment primarily on Prague Airport’s exceptional position as the owner and operator of the sole airport serving Prague, which is also the main international gateway to the Czech Republic. It also rates positively the airport’s competitive charges within a balanced regulatory framework, the company’s very strong financial profile, and the flexibility in implementing its long-term investment plan.
