Alongside passenger flights, Václav Havel Airport Prague handles regular cargo flights. Qatar Airways Cargo has long operated the cargo route between Prague and Doha, Qatar, using primarily Boeing 777F aircraft, i.e., a type of aircraft tailored for cargo transport, to deliver various types of goods and consignments to/from Prague. Recently, the cargo division of the Qatar Airways has announced adding supplementary capacity for transporting goods on the route effective Saturday, 3 July 2021. Qatar Airways Cargo route will thus be operated three times a week. More frequencies will provide more options of worldwide goods transport.

Even though, air transport experienced an unprecedented decline in 2020, the air freight segment was more stable and there were no such dramatic volume drops as in passenger transport. The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the transport of goods were slightly milder and there has been a long-term interest in the transport of goods. Last year, the number of flights handled at cargo terminals in Prague increased by approximately 10% year-on-year, with a total of 52,442,778 kg of cargo transported.

Currently, various airlines operate a total of five scheduled cargo routes from/to Prague.
