Tour of the airport − introduction

Would you like to take a close look at the airport’s operation and traffic? Do you want to peek inside to see all the mysteries and nooks, which this dynamic as well as slightly magical world is hiding? Do you know what kinds of vehicles you can see at the airport and their exact functions? Are you interested to learn which airport vehicle is called a pushback and what it does? Don’t hesitate: register for one of the scheduled tours of the airport. We offer you both individual tours (for persons) and tours for groups (for organised groups, schools or kindergartens). In addition, we offer special tours for amateur photographers, who can take photos from very close to the runway.

How to find us

Travelling by car

If you attend the airport tour by car, use the parking area right in front of Terminal 2 (PB ECONOMY), where all the tours start. The parking fee is CZK 10O, valid for 3 hours. You will pay it simultaneously with the entrance fee for the tour of the airport.

Travelling by public transport

If you opt for public transport, get off at the stop called _“TERMINAL 2^”.

Bus no. 119 (Towards the airport): Underground station Veleslavín (A line) – Divoká Šárka – K Letišti – TERMINAL 2.
Bus no. 100 (Towards the airport): Underground station Zličín (B line) – K Letišti – TERMINAL 2.

Parking

Are you planning to drive to your airport tour? We have a discount offer for your parking in front of Terminal 2 (the car park behind the barrier gate): CZK 100 per car. You will pay the parking fee at the cash counter inside Terminal 2 (together with the entrance ticket for the tour of the airport), where you get your exit ticket.

Taking photos and recording videos

Notice for tour participants: Taking photos and recoding videos

During the tour of the airport you are allowed to take photos and record videos if the records are for your personal purposes – to remember the experience or to study the topic further. It is only entirely forbidden to take photos on Line 5 (with the tour of the hanger).

Please do not post your videos on social networks (YouTube, Facebook, etc.); this would be a violation of personal data protection. Equally, do not make public any picture or sound of people taking part in the tour, including guides, drivers and other airport employees.

You are not allowed to take the tour if you have and arm or leg in plaster or you are wearing a non-removable orthosis (immobiliser brace or splint). If you are wearing an orthosis and cannot remove it during the security inspection, you will unfortunately be excluded from the tour of the airport.

Notice for photo tour participants: reflective vests

Are you going to take a photo tour of Václav Havel Airport? We need to remind you that during the photo tour you must wear your own reflective vest in order to be allowed to walk when outside the bus (the colour of the vest does not matter). If you do not have your own reflective vest, you can buy one from our Souvenir Shop before the tour.

Tourist wooden coins

Václav Havel Airport is marked as no. 1607 among the sights with a tourist wooden coin (in Czech: turistická známka). You can buy the wooden coins in the Souvenir Shop in Terminal 3. The price of the wooden coin is CZK 35. You can also find tourist cards and stickers in the shop.
