Wizz Air Announces a New Prague-Tirana Route

This is the second new direct scheduled connection from Prague confirmed by air carriers in the last two days. Alongside the route to Albania, offered by Wizz Air, Czech Airlines made an announcement yesterday regarding its new service to London/Heathrow.

For several months, a number of protective measures have been in place at Václav Havel Airport Prague set up in co-operation with public health protection authorities. Departures and arrivals take place under strict hygienic conditions, which are to ensure the health and safety of passengers. 

Passengers are regularly informed of all set measures via, for example, the airport PA system, information desks and stickers, alongside other communication channels. All passengers and visitors must wear face masks in all areas of the airport, keep a safe distance from other people, wash their hands frequently and thoroughly and use hand sanitizers. To facilitate that, over 250 disinfection points have been placed across the airport. At the moment, we provide passengers on arrival with face masks free of charge if they do not bring their own. Check-in counters have been fitted with protective plexiglass or see-through foil, which forms a safe barrier between the employee and the passenger. In addition, thorough disinfection of all frequented areas has been introduced with special focus on places with excessive accumulation of passengers. Departure gates are carefully disinfected after each departure.
