A Unique Tribute to Václav Havel

In the arrivals hall of Terminal 2, visitors can admire an anamorphic portrait created by artist Patrik Prošek. This spatial installation is made up of more than 3,000 authentic items and documents connected to the life and legacy of the former president. Among the objects are Consul typewriters, writing instruments, keys symbolizing the Velvet Revolution, vinyl records, telephones, and a Czech flag made of genuine velvet.

The portrait is only fully visible from a specific vantage point; from all other angles, the installation appears as a scattered collection of objects. This artistic technique highlights the importance of perspective – both in art and in life.

The artist worked on the piece for four months, collaborating with institutions such as the Václav Havel Library, the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97, the Committee of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation, and others.
