Damaged or Undelivered Baggage

During transportation, baggage may be damaged or not delivered. In such cases, you have the right to claim your baggage at the counter of the handling company which handled your flight and is listed on the information boards by the baggage carousel. The counters of all three handling companies (Czech Airlines Handling, Menzies Aviation, and Czech GH) are located in the baggage claim area of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

List of Carriers and Handling Companies

The claims counter employee will fill in a report with you about the damage or non-delivery of your baggage. The report contains a reference number and contact information for further communication. In the majority of cases, undelivered baggage arrives on one of the following flights and is usually delivered to the address you have provided in the form. The method of delivery of the baggage depends on the terms and conditions of your airline.

In the event of a subsequent claim, it is necessary to contact your airline directly, no later than seven (7) days after your arrival.
