A Theatrical Stage with Boxes and Balconies

Forum Havlum is a unique art installation created by architect and designer Bořek Šípek as a tribute to his close friend, President Václav Havel. Resembling a theatrical stage with boxes and balconies, the space is located in the departure hall of Terminal 2 and serves as a place for reflection on Havel’s legacy. Visitors can view projected quotes from his literary and dramatic works in both Czech and English, along with footage from his life.

Forum Havlum was ceremonially unveiled on October 5, 2012, to mark the renaming of the airport in honor of Václav Havel.
