Helsinki will impress you with its rich history, cultural sights, beautiful nature, and good food. The biggest landmark is the UNESCO World Heritage listed fortress of Suomenlinna (Finnish Castle), which is spread over several small islands connected by bridges. Another beautiful place, where you can learn about the Finnish rural life in the 17^th-19^th centuries, is the Seurasaari open-air museum. The following sights should also be included in your city walking tour: the Senate Square (Senaatintori) with the Helsinki Cathedral and the Market Square with the Town Hall, the Presidential Palace, and the Kauppahalli old market hall. Other attractions include the Uspenski Cathedral, the Finnish National Museum, and the famous Evangelical Cathedral (Tuomiokirkko).

If you want to relax, go to the Central Park or to a place called Löyly, where you can try the famous Finnish sauna and enjoy a beautiful view of the Gulf of Finland. If you book a boat trip, you will see not only the already mentioned Suomenlinna fortress, but also the beautiful coast, the Degerö channel, the island of Korkeasaari, the Zoo, and the fleet of icebreakers.
