The conditions for the transport of such baggage differs according to the airline company.Check-in procedure for oversize baggageIf you plan to check in a non-standard piece of baggage, it is advisable to inform the airline company (or tour operator) about this fact as early as when you are booking the flight or purchasing the ticket and to check the check-in requirements in advance.When at the Airport, go to the standard check-in desk and inform the check-in staff about the oversize piece of baggage.The staff member will check in the baggage, tag the baggage and then either arrange for the passenger to be transferred to the oversized baggage counter or, in some cases, an agent will arrange it.Then the handling company personnel will take care of your baggage while you go on to security (Terminal 2) or passport control(Terminal 1). At the arrival airport, you will pick up your baggage at the oversize baggage counter.
