Fast and Comfortable Transfers at Václav Havel Airport Prague

Václav Havel Airport Prague operates two terminals. Terminal 1 is designated for departures to countries outside of the Schengen Area while Terminal 2 handles departures to the Schengen Area member states.

Transfers between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2

Applied Procedure:

  • Arrival at the airport
  • Passengers do not claim their baggage
  • Passengers pass the passport control
  • Passengers pass the security check
  • Passengers proceed to the assigned gate

The handling procedure in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 only varies in the location of the security check. In Terminal 1, security check takes place in front of each gate while in Terminal 2 there is one central security control located right behind the passport control.

Transfer within Terminal 1

Applied procedure:

  • Arrival at the airport
  • Passengers do not claim their baggage
  • Passengers proceed to the assigned gate
  • Passengers pass the security check

Transfer within Terminal 2

Applied procedure:

  • Arrival at the airport
  • Passengers do not claim their baggage
  • Passengers proceed to the assigned gate without passing the security check
