Information for Passengers – travelling from/to the Czech Republic

Many protective measures have been set up at Václav Havel Airport Prague for several months. Departures and arrivals take place under strict hygienic conditions, which are to ensure the health and safety of passengers. We recommend to all passengers and visitors to wear face masks, to keep a safe distance from other people, to wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizers when inside the airport. Thank you for protecting yourselves and those around you.

We recommend all passengers also check protective measures of their airline and confirm the current conditions for entering the country to which they are travelling from Prague.

Express car parks for short-term parking are ideal for those who pick-up or drop-off passengers and their baggage, without spending time at the airport. First 15 minutes at the Express car parks is free of charge. Free parking will only be available once every 24 hours. Longer than 15-minute stays are subject to a charge of CZK 100 for the first 16 to 30 minutes and additional CZK 100 for each commenced 30-minute interval.

Prague Airport offers value/pre-paid cards for frequent users of express parking spaces.

Car parks with short-term parking tariffs are designed for those who wish to accompany their family members and friends during checking-in and spend a few moments with them at the airport, and for those who come to the airport for a business meeting. Parking at car parks with short-term parking tariffs will cost you CZK 60/hour only. Both car parks, i.e. PC COMFORT and PB ECONOMY, are located directly by the terminal buildings.

Electric vehicle charging

The charging is possible under both long-term and short-term parking in a PC Comfort car park. In terms of short-term parking, a fast charging station is available with CHAdeMO plug (up to 50 kW), CCS plug (up to 50 kW), or Type 2 „Mennekes“ plug (up to 22 kW). The parking spots are marked with a green colour and electric vehicle charging station symbol. The parking spots cannot be booked in advance. We are not able to guarantee the availability of the parking spot nor the availability of the power socket. To charge your vehicle, the passengers need their own charger and cable. Charging is available FREE OF CHARGE in both cases.
